Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher
We are looking for a Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for the Elementary School beginning on or around November 16, 2026 through January 22, 2027.
We are looking for certified and highly qualified and experienced candidates.
- Valid NYS Teacher Certification - Students with Disabilities All Grades, or Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6
- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with all students
- Ability to work collaboratively with co-professionals
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
- Competent in completing assessments and reporting as appropriate
- Able to write, interpret and administer IEP's
- Plan for, provide, and document instruction for SWDs
- Understand NYS mandates for individual education plans
- Provide instruction for SWDs consistent with NYS standards and NYS regulations
- Preferred experience in elementary special ed preferred.
