The New York Public Library invites applications for a Library Trainee at the Soundview Library, working 35 hours per week under the mentorship of the Library Manager and staff while pursuing an MLS. Trainees progress toward the ALA‑accredited degree and, upon graduation, become Librarians eligible for NYS certification.
Salary ranges from $54,268 to $56,893 annually, with opportunities to gain experience in outreach, reference, programming, and collection development to serve the community
