Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience working with special education students in grades K-2.
  • Desire to work within a self-contained classroom model.
  • Desire and ability to work collaboratively with direct and indirect academic teams, including Teacher Assistants, aides, related services providers, counselors and school psychologists.
  • Knowledge and evidence of Individualized Education Programming and subsequent document development.
  • Evidence of strong classroom management with an emphasis on student engagement.
  • Commitment to ongoing team development, curriculum, instructional technology and professional development.
