Guggenheim in New York seeks a Teaching Artist to support the Learning Through Art program. You will teach a 20-week residency in NYC public elementary schools, guiding students through artmaking and curriculum connections, culminating in a public exhibition at the Guggenheim.
The ideal candidate is a practicing artist with at least two years’ experience teaching art to children, and strong classroom management in diverse settings. The role is part-time and travel within NYC is required.
