Child Care Teacher – Two's

Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
Maintain open communication with parents and share children's daily milestones
Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in an early education/preschool child care center
Respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies
Participate fully in activities involving lifting, reaching, squatting, climbing, and sitting
Comply with applicable immunization, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education required
• Study plan leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education required
• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
• Must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
• New York State Teaching (B-2, N-6, 1-6, Special Education) or study plan eligible is preferred
• At least two years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, or hold children weighing 10 to 40 pounds
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or hold more than 40 pounds
• Ability to maintain mental and physical alertness and appropriate energy
• Ability to comply with applicable immunization, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training requirements

Demonstrates expertise in Early Childhood Education, including curriculum delivery and child supervision, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Capable of maintaining effective communication with parents and responding to emergencies in a preschool environment.
