ABOUT

THE ROLE

The Enrichment Teacher teaches a special subject like art, music, dance, STEM, or theater. This teacher helps students grow their talents, try new things, and express themselves. The Enrichment Teacher plans fun and meaningful lessons that connect to the real world and bring joy to learning.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Teach exciting and creative lessons that help students build skills in your subject area.
  • Set clear expectations and build a positive classroom culture.
  • Connect your lessons to Launch’s core values and habits.
  • Work with other teachers to connect enrichment with what students are learning in other classes.
  • Track how students are doing and communicate with families.
  • Lead performances, shows, or projects to showcase student work.
  • Join staff meetings, trainings, and events.
WHAT YOU NEED
  • A bachelor’s degree (teaching certification is a plus).
  • Experience working with middle school students.
  • A love for your subject and for helping students grow.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A team mindset and openness to feedback.
  • A belief that all students can learn and succeed.
