Coopersown is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Club Advisor to lead and supervise our Elementary Art Club. This after-school program provides students with additional opportunities to explore their creativity, experiment with different media, and deepen their appreciation for the visual arts in a fun, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate art activities for elementary students.
• Create a safe and inclusive space where students can express themselves artistically.
• Introduce students to a variety of artistic techniques, tools, and materials.
• Promote creativity, collaboration, and confidence in students' artistic abilities.
• Organize art displays or exhibitions showcasing students' work (optional or seasonal).
• Communicate with parents and staff about schedules, activities, and student progress.
• Ensure proper use and care of art materials and classroom space.

Qualifications:

• Background in art, art education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational or enrichment settings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for fostering creativity and making art accessible and enjoyable.
• Ability to adapt projects for a range of skill levels and student interests.
• Positive, encouraging, and patient demeanor.
