Job Description
The Midwifery Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/part-time Adjunct Instructor. The successful candidate will:
- Teach the following courses for the Fall Semester:
- NRMW 5116 Advanced Pathophysiology & Primary Care
- NRMW 5408 Advanced Comprehensive Health Assessment
- Conduct curriculum development and dissemination.
- Grade written assignment as well as both written and practical examinations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or higher in Midwifery, Public Health or Nursing.
- 1+ year of classroom teaching experience.
- 5+ years full-scope clinical midwifery practice.
