SANY is excited to announce the opening of ELA Intervention Support Teacher (Grades 6-11) for Citizenship and Science Academy Syracuse Jr./Sr. High School.
Responsibilities- Provide engaging lesson plans that conform to the charter's curriculum.
- Possess a strong understanding of Common Core standards and state learning standards.
- Modify, redesign, and develop curriculum as needed.
- Collaborate with staff to determine the charter's instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
- Prepare students for the standardized tests relevant to the content area.
- Have excellent content knowledge and pedagogy.
- Use analytics and data to drive instruction and promote learning.
- Appreciate regular feedback, accountability, and the rewards that come with doing a great job serving our students and communities.
- Demonstrate great classroom management.

- Bachelor's degree required;
Master's degree preferred. - NYS Certified required.
- Experience with a diverse population of students or in an urban setting is a plus.
- Prior teaching experience preferred; novice teachers encouraged to apply.
- Fingerprint clearance through the NYS Department of Education.
