Southampton Union Free School District is seeking a qualified Supplemental 1:1 Aide to provide student support at Southampton High School during the school year.

Responsibilities

Provide individual 1:1 support to an assigned student.
Assist the student with participation in the educational program and school activities.
Implement supports and accommodations as directed by appropriate instructional and special education staff.
Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to support the student's educational, behavioral, and social needs.
Maintain student confidentiality and follow all District procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must meet NYSED requirements to serve as a Supplemental 1:1 Aide.
High School Diploma
Fingerprint Clearance through NYS Department of Education
Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and support staff.
Ability to follow student-specific plans, accommodations, and staff direction.
