Job Description:

The Baker School of Business and Technology seeks a business-driven professional with demonstrated leadership experience in the fashion and retail sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong business, quantitative, and analytical skills, with the ability to teach courses in fashion business practices, AI applications in fashion, retail math, planning, fashion business digital technology, and data analytics.

Candidates should have a strong background in fashion business management and be able to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the field's principles, strategies, and practices. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in current industry developments and emerging trends, with a passion for empowering students to succeed academically and professionally while contributing to scholarly and creative activities.

Primary responsibilities include teaching and developing engaging learning experiences that promote critical thinking, analysis, problem-solving, and active learning. The faculty member will also contribute to curriculum development and enhancement in areas such as fashion analytics, planning, digital technology, artificial intelligence, and merchandising strategies.

Additional responsibilities include advising and mentoring students; supporting experiential learning opportunities through internships, seminars, industry events, and other professional development activities; and cultivating strategic partnerships with industry leaders and academic institutions.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in advancing the department's and school's strategic priorities by bringing innovative industry practices and learning experiences into the classroom. The faculty member will also serve on department, school, and college-wide committees; support accreditation and assessment initiatives; and participate in administrative duties and special projects as needed.
