Adjunct Professor - MLP Sonography Program Overview
Provide didactic instruction to students in the Sonography Program at Machon L'Parnasa
Responsibilities- Teach courses within the Sonography curriculum that coordinates with clinical experience
- Develop course objectives, lesson plans, curriculum, syllabus
- Design, prepare, and develop teaching material that conforms to the AIUM, SDMS and JRCDMS guidelines regarding sonography education
- Instruct and evaluate students and report progress, utilizing Touro instructional tools (i.e., Canvas, etc.)
- Cooperate and participate in periodic review and revision of course material and program materials
- Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development
Education/ Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent related experience. Master's Degree preferred.
- Teaching experience
- For sonography specific courses, RDMS certification required.
Knowledge /Skills/ Abilities
- Familiarity in online learning platforms including Banner, Canvas, Blackboard, & Adobe Connect.
- A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues.
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal).
