Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Social Media Coordinator (Hospitality)
Location: New York

Our mission for this role, make our hospitality clients the accounts every other restaurant, bar and hospitality brand in the city wishes they had.

About Romi Digital

Romi Digital is an extremely fast growing social media agency, founded by two Irish founders right here in New York City. We work with hospitality, beauty and ecommerce brands, building real content systems instead of guessing and hoping something goes viral.

We've already achieved amazing results for our hospitality clients, and we're looking for someone who can do the same.

Own the results

This is a results role, not a posting role. You'll own the strategy for every account on your roster and you're judged on growth, not just output.

  • Set and run the content strategy for each account, tied to real funnel thinking, not just what to post this week
  • Know what a hook actually is and use one on everything you make
  • Stay ahead of what's trending in hospitality specifically, not just what's trending on social media in general
  • Read performance data and know what to actually change next month, not just report the numbers
  • Play the long game with every client, you catch a relationship drifting before it becomes a problem
  • Report on results and run monthly strategy calls with clients
Tell the story

Hospitality isn't a product business, it's an experience business, and that's what you're actually selling.

  • You capture the room, the crowd, the night, what actually makes someone want to be there, not just a plate of food
  • You turn a client's brand into a story people want to follow, not an account they scroll past
  • Every post says something about who this client is, not just what they're serving
Do the work
  • Own the client relationship for your hospitality accounts, you're the main point of contact
  • Build the content calendar for each account
  • Edit and design your own content, reels, shorts and graphics
  • Quality check everything before it goes out
Who we're looking for
  • You already understand hospitality marketing, this is a must
  • You know how to write and spot a hook
  • You're on top of what's trending in hospitality, not just what's trending on social media
  • A problem solver with a doer mentality, calm under pressure and not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Organized and genuinely good at project management
  • Creative, and it shows in how you think about content
  • You communicate well, with clients and with your own team
  • A real eye for food and atmosphere
  • Great attitude, good energy every day
  • You have, photography or videography experience shooting food content (iPhone-led is okay!)
  • Based in New York City
What's in it for you
  • If you're the right fit, we build a team around you so your seat becomes strategy long term
  • A genuine seat at a fast growing agency
  • Salary, $50,000 to $65,000, depending on experience

We invest in our team's health, security, and financial future. Full-time employees (30+ hrs/week) get access to:

  • 401(k) with employer match — Safe Harbor plan through Human Interest, with immediate eligibility (no waiting period), both traditional and Roth contributions.
  • Medical — Multiple plan options through Aetna and Kaiser Permanente across a range of deductibles. 100% coverage for in-network preventive care, plus telemedicine and a dedicated health guide (Rightway) to help you navigate coverage and bills.
  • Disability & Life — Short-term and long-term disability coverage, plus life and AD&D insurance.
  • HSA & FSA — Tax-advantaged accounts for medical and dependent-care expenses.
  • Commuter Benefits — Pre-tax dollars toward transit and parking.
  • Employee Assistance Program — Free, confidential counseling, plus legal, financial, and wellness support for you and your family.
  • Voluntary Extras — Accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage, plus pet, home/auto, legal, and identity-protection plans.
