Special Education Teacher

Uncommon Schools seeks a mission-driven Special Education Teacher to provide rigorous, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs. In our college-prep charter schools, you will design and deliver specialized lessons, develop and manage IEPs, and use data to drive academic and social-emotional growth. You will collaborate closely with general educators, related service providers, and families, and participate in intensive coaching and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in compliance with regulations
• Use data to track, analyze, and report student progress

• Implement behavior and classroom management systems
