Preschool Assistant Operations Director

is looking for an energetic, organized, and inspiring leader to join their brand newpreschoolin Greenpoint, NY
as an
Assistant Operations Director
. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who has extensive experience within a licensed preschool.

• This is a Direct Hire position with the school
• Full-time;
  Monday - Friday; year-round employment

• $50,000 to $80,000/year
  pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

• Assist with transitions for kids.
• Engage with new leads and families; conduct tours and participate in lead follow up.
• Participate in the enrollment process; schedule and collaborate with new family onboarding.
• Demonstrates awareness of enrollment opportunities: plan child transitions and review with franchisee, review and update class lists.
• Participate in marketing events and in-house events.
• Plan and monitor teacher schedules and hours, including lesson planning time.
• Assist in the classrooms as needed
• Participate in weekly leadership/admin meetings to align on school priorities, events, staffing needs and operational focus areas.

• REQUIRED Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
• REQUIRED Teaching
  
  Experience:
  
  At least 2-years of Early Childhood Education (birth to 5-years-old) teaching experience
• REQUIRED Certification:Teaching Certification
• Must
  be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler classrooms, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Must
  meet background check eligibility
