The division is seeking candidates for all ranks at the adjunctlevel to teach cybersecurity and digital forensics courses face toface on the Queens campus.

• Prepare and distribute to students a course outline in accordance with the course syllabus.
• Develop instructional materials (lectures, readings,assignments, exams, projects, etc.) that will achieve the learning outcomes as stated in the course syllabus.
• Evaluate student performance throughout the semester and provide periodic and constructive feedback to students in areasonable amount of time.
• Be available to engage with students outside the classroom byemail, phone, web conferencing, or face-to-face meetings.
• Evaluate student performance and post final grades for each student within the timeframe required by the Provost's Office andbe available for two weeks after the semester concludes to discussfinal grades with students by email or phone.
• Promptly respond to requests for information before, during,and after the course as required by the Division Chair and the CCPSDean's Office.

Cyber Security, Mathematics, and Computer Science

For all ranks, a master's degree in discipline or a related fieldis required. At the instructor level, relevant industry experience and college teaching experience are preferred. At the assistant professor level, college teaching experience is required. At the associate professor level, college teaching experience is required,and an earned doctorate in a related field is preferred. At thefull professor level, extensive college teaching experience, and anearned doctorate in a related field are required.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the salary rangefor this position is $1,803 to $2,215. St. John's Universityconsiders factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience,education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well asmarket and organizational considerations when extending anoffer.
