Cast Member

City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic support and small-group tutoring in core subjects
• Offer one-on-one mentoring to promote students' social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with teachers to track student progress and adjust support plans
• Facilitate after-school or enrichment activities that engage students
• Support positive classroom culture and behavior management routines
• Collect and report student data to inform interventions and services
• Participate in regular training, coaching, and professional development
• Engage families and school staff as partners in student success
• Serve as a positive role model and advocate for educational equity
• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive Ameri
• Corps team environment
