Aboutthe Position
Grace Church School seeks a dynamic and engaging Spanish teacher, who loves teaching lower and middle school students. The ideal candidate will help students grow their skills and foster their joy in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the structure of the Spanish language; is committed to addressing social justice, diversity, equity, and anti-bias education; will bring tools and strategies for differentiating instruction;
will communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues; will work collaborative to develop curriculum; and will value professional growth.
- Teaching load would include teaching sections of third, fourth and sixth grade Spanish
- Running a middle school club
- Other responsibilities include lunch duty, recess duty, and other supervisory duties.
A bachelor’s degree and teaching experience are required.
Fluency in and the ability to teach French is a plus.
CompensationThis is a part-time faculty position (0.75) with an expected base salary of $68,000–$155,040 commensurate with education and experience on the faculty salary scale.
