Position Summary:
Yeshiva University High School for Boys is seeking to hire a Rebbe to mentor and guide students, to serve as a Jewish studies Rebbe for a daily gemara shir, as well as teach Jewish studies classes.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is an integrated member of our faculty, serving in a Judaic Studies teaching capacity as a rebbe.
This position will include teching a Jewish studies shiur, and teach 2 additional Jewish studies classes such as tanach, bekiyus, machshava and perform other functions that may be assigned. Full day position from 8AM – 4 PM.
Experience & Educational Background:
- Undergraduate + advanced Rabbinical ordination
- Ability to read, speak and teach in Hebrew
- Knowledge of Talmudic and Biblical texts
- Speaks clearly and expresses self well in one-on-one conversations and groups
- Develops effective relationships with peers, students, and employees
- Assumes responsibility to ensure issues/concerns will be addressed and monitors them through conclusion
- Identifies, defines and analyzes information and situations before recommending a course of action
- Effectively manages own time and resources
- Seeks to apply technology and innovation to improve efficiency and solve problems
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $80,000
