Guitar Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Guitar Teacher to provide private and group guitar instruction in our retail lesson studio. In this role, you will teach students of all ages and skill levels, create tailored lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and performances, and support student retention. You'll collaborate with store staff to grow enrollments, maintain accurate schedules and records, and promote a positive, inclusive, student focused learning environment.

Ideal candidates have strong guitar proficiency, prior teaching or tutoring experience, and a commitment to music education and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group guitar lessons to students of varying ages and levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and evaluations
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and lesson records
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and retention
• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment
• Recommend instruments, accessories, and materials to support learning
• Uphold Music & Arts policies, safety, and studio standards
