Who are we? Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We use student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for every individual we serve.
What You'll Do- Provide hands-on carpentry instruction and career technical training
- Prepare students for industry-recognized certifications and employment opportunities
- Develop engaging lessons that support student learning and skill development
- Provide individualized guidance, mentoring, and career support
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Help students identify job opportunities and support graduate placement efforts
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom/shop environment
- Reinforce workplace expectations, professionalism, and Career Success Standards
- Partner with departments across Center to support student success
- Monday-Friday schedule with weekends off 11 paid holidays per year

- Minimum 1 year of teaching or related industry experience required
- Certification, licensing, or accreditation in Carpentry required
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Valid driver's license required and must meet Company insurability requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
