We are looking for Professional Educators te be in our team of teachers in caring for preschool children from 2-4 years old. Our teaching teams use the Creative Curriculum for lesson planning and the Pyramid Model for Social Emotional Skill Building Developmental goals and challenges are considered with an individual plans for each child.

We require that applicants have a BA in ECE / Certification not required. We require a minimum of 2 years experience in a childcare classroom. We are a supportive working environment. We offer internal as well consistent staff development trainings to our teachers, helping them succeed in their profession in early childhood. We also support teachers pursuing their next step in their career in Early Childhood.

Honeydew Drop’s mission is to provide high quality childcare, parental support and leadership training for childcare providers. Our focus is the socio emotional health and growth of the children, their families and their caregivers. We believe that teaching children to become independent resilient and part of a community will best prepare them for school and life. Honeydew has been serving the Brooklyn community since 1999.

We care for children ages 4 months to 5 years old in small classrooms in 3 locations in Park Slope, Ditmas Park, Fort Greene Clinton Hill and the Flatbush/ Kensington area.
