Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Camp Counselor to lead and supervise our summer and school break camps. The ideal candidate brings a strong background working with elementary-aged children (4–10 years old) and excels at organizing and guiding kids through physical activities and learning projects with a positive, encouraging and inspiring approach. Experience in behavioral management and supporting children with sensory processing differences is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the staff and campers during physical activities
  • Lead STEAM-based programs for children, focusing on interactive and hands‑on educational projects.
  • Manage daily operations, including setting up the space for the physical activities and the learning projects, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff, providing updates and feedback regarding program progress and individual camper needs.
  • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and special events as required.
  • A passion and desire to work and encourage children.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children (aged 4-12) in an educational or camp setting; prior experience in a leadership role necessary
  • Previous experience managing and mentoring staff
  • Ability to plan and lead activities that are both educational and fun.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • A positive, energetic, and adaptable attitude.
  • Comfortable being physically active
