Leave Replacement Upper School Technology Integrator and Teacher; 5th-8th Grade

Town now seeks a Technology Integrator and Teacher leave replacement for the 2026-27 school year. As a member of the Upper School Faculty and our Technology Department, this position reports directly to the Upper School Division Head and Assistant Division Head. Acting as a teacher, mentor, role model, and professional development specialist, the Technology Integrator advanced Town's efforts to blend technology into the school curriculum.

Town's 2026-27 Faculty Scale is $68,000 to $115,300, based on years of classroom teaching experience. The salary for this interim position will be a prorated step on the scale, determined by length of leave coverage.

• Provide strategic leadership in curriculum integration and our 1:1 program in the daily classes of the Upper School.
• Work with the Academic Team to regularly ensure that the use of technology in the Upper School is curriculum-driven, age-appropriate, and is consistent with the "best practices" model of technology integration.
• Maintain, manage, and promote Town's iLab Makerspace.
• Act as a resource in providing academic technology support for Upper School faculty, students, and staff to model effective educational technology use.
• Coordinate programs for educating the Upper School (administration, faculty, staff, students, and parents) about instructional technology issues.
• Remain current in relevant curricular issues and trends in educational technologies through research and communication with professional organizations and colleagues at other schools.
• Manage EdTech platforms

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's in Education or Educational Technology preferred
• 2 - 5 years experience teaching and catering to primary (Pre-K through 5th) students' developmental needs.
• Knowledge of current pedagogical strategies, technology trends, and a high level of proficiency with educational technology.
• Flexibility, creativity, and an ability to work with a variety of learning styles and age levels.
• Effective and supportive communication skills, including the ability to explain technology issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Initiative and assertiveness in introducing educational technology and its integration in the classroom.
• Experience with iOS software, apps, and iPad functionality, G Suite for Education, Learning Management Systems (preferable Schoology/Seesaw), Interactive Digital Displays (preferably Legamaster), and a willingness to become an expert in other products as necessary.
• Knowledge and ability to teach coding and Maker curriculum(s)
