Position Overview- Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to students with disabilities in a structured, supportive school environment.
- Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lessons that address students’ academic, developmental, behavioral, and functional needs.
- Monitor student progress, maintain appropriate documentation, and adjust instructional strategies to support individual goals and growth.
- Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff to create a consistent, student-centered approach to learning and development.
- Master’s degree preferred
- Valid New York State Teacher Certification required;
Special Education Certification preferred - Prior experience working with students with disabilities strongly preferred, along with strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Earn $49.40 - $50.40per hour
