Requirements
KEYJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Motivateandguideaspiringculinaryprofessionalstofindtheirculinary voice.
- Trainfacultyincurriculummasteryandteachingskillas required.
- RepresentICEforon-campuseventsasrequired(suchas,butnotlimitedto:Open-house, demonstrations, special events).
- Conductin-classroomdemonstrationsasrequiredby curriculum.
- Deliver clear,conciseandorganizedlecturesbothin-personand online.
- Assessstudentandfacultyperformancethroughobservationandinteraction,alongwithwritten and practical examinations.
- Assureclassesareconductedinamannerthatcomplieswithprinciplesoffoodsafetyand sanitation.
- Maintainaccuraterecordsofstudentattendanceand performance.
- Attendmeetingsandfacultyorientationas required.
- Otherdutiesas required.
- Bachelor’sdegreeorhigherinarelatedfield.
Master’sdegree preferred. - Mustpossessasolidfoundationofculinaryand/orpastry&baking knowledge,withastrong desire for continued learning.
- Minimumofseven(7) yearsculinaryorpastry&bakingexperiencewithsomesupervisory responsibilities. Fine Dining experience highly preferred.
- College-levelteachingexperiencehighly preferred.
- Excellentcommunicationskillsbothwrittenandverbal;strongpresentationandinterpersonal skills.
- Demonstratedabilitytointeractinacollaborativemannerwithotherdepartmentsand teams.
- Workingknowledgeof Microsoftsuiteofproductsincluding Outlook ,PowerPoint,Wordand Excel.
Up-to $650.00 per year reimbursement program for any combination of the following:
