10/2026 $ 17/hour Menands School is looking to fill openings for instructional aides for the  school year. Instructional aide duties may include:
Assisting teachers with classroom management and instructional activities Providing individual or small group support to students with special needs Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs Assisting with challenging student behavior and monitoring progress Collaborating with teachers and other professionals Assisting with classroom setup and organization Helping students with communication, mobility, and daily living skills Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for students Submit Resume to Audrey Koslowski, Coordinator of Pupil Personnel Services, akoslowski The Menands Union Free School District— better known as Menands School—serves approximately 300 students in 4 Year Old PRE-K through eighth grade.

The school district pays tuition for an additional 130 Menands students in ninth through 12th grades to attend one of four area high schools:
Shaker High School in North Colonie Central School District, Colonie Central High School (South Colonie), Watervliet High School, or Tech Valley High School. A small public school district that never centralized with other schools, Menands Union Free School District has been in existence for over 140 years and continues to be a focal point of our village community.
