The Educational Director is a full-time, on-site role located in Bronx, NY, responsible for overseeing the educational program and ensuring high-quality learning experiences for children. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating curricula that align with developmental milestones and regulatory standards. The Educational Director will mentor and support teaching staff, lead regular team meetings, and provide ongoing training to enhance instructional practices.

Daily responsibilities include observing classrooms, offering feedback, communicating with families about children’s progress, and ensuring compliance with licensing and safety requirements. The role also includes collaborating with leadership on program improvements, maintaining documentation, and promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

• Strong background in Education, with experience in early childhood or child development.
• Skills in Educational Management and Team Management to oversee staff and classroom operations effectively.
• Expertise in Curriculum Development to design and adapt age-appropriate, standards-based learning activities.
• Excellent Communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a child care or school setting.
• Knowledge of state licensing regulations, safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education.
• Ability to build an inclusive, culturally responsive learning environment and work collaboratively in a diverse community.
