The Learning Experience
- Upper West Side is seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Our Infant Lead Teacher creates a warm, responsive classroom where babies feel safe, secure, and loved while reaching important developmental milestones. We're looking for an educator who understands that infant care is about much more than routines - it's about building trusting relationships, encouraging exploration, and creating meaningful learning experiences from the very beginning.

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences in an Infant classroom
• Provide responsive, individualized care based on each infant's needs and schedule
• Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and other daily care routines
• Create age-appropriate sensory, movement, language, music, and early learning experiences
• Support cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional development
• Observe developmental progress and maintain required classroom documentation
• Maintain consistent communication and build trusting relationships with families
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers and classroom support staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and nurturing classroom
• Follow applicable New York City childcare health, safety, and licensing requirements

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education required
• Previous professional infant classroom or early childhood education experience strongly preferred
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented
• Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements
