Currently, we operate multiple elementary, middle, and high schools in the Bronx, Upper Manhattan, and Queens

Our Network Office for Academic Excellence and School Excellence teams is located at 425 Westchester Ave., Bronx, NY 10455. In this role, you can expect to work in person most days, including Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as other days of the week when your work requires it. Depending on the role, team members may have optional remote days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday, as permitted, along with remote flexibility during academic calendar breaks when school is not in session.

To achieve our vision, we are searching for a talented Associate or Manager of Specialty Operations with a Bachelor’s degree, and at least 2 years of experience, with a proven track record of designing and executing efficient systems and ensuring programs run seamlessly at scale
. The ideal candidate will be passionate about equitable access to world-class learning opportunities for specialty programming and will have a service-oriented mindset to support our growing network of schools with day-to-day operations. We are open to hiring at the Associate or Manager level; title and compensation will be determined after assessment of experience, skills, and competencies.

Zeta’s specialty program is a cornerstone of our next-generation school design that engages students in whole child learning through participation in specialty programs such as Music, Taekwondo, Soccer, Chess, Art, Dance, Orchestra, Performing Arts, Athletics, Basketball, Pre-K Specialty, and more.

Specialty activities are the mechanism for students to come to know and challenge themselves. Through specialty activities, students express their sense of self long before they can articulate this sense with words. It is where work is play, where students are willing to put in more work than they might otherwise in pursuit of their goals and of excellence. Big obstacles become fun to tackle;

students then learn to think critically about problems, to be creative, to innovate, to problem-solve, to stop at nothing to reach their aims. They learn and practice grit over and over again. Their identity begins to form around these efforts and resultant accomplishments, and they develop character and confidence.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Background working in schools
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
• Experience using AI or automation tools to improve operational efficiency

Responsibilities:

• Own the day-to-day operations of Zeta’s specialty programming, managing enrollment, schedules, procurement, inventorying, logistics, and communications with precision
• Design and refine systems and structures that make specialty programming consistent and scalable across all schools
• Manage data effectively by tracking enrollment, usage, and outcomes in spreadsheets and dashboards, and surfacing insights to continuously improve programming
• Collaborate closely with school-based operations teams (SBOT), Operations Directors, and school leaders to ensure programming runs smoothly at every school
