Schedule:

Part-Time, Monday-Friday | Approximately 2:00 PM-6:00 PM

- Hudson Yards is seeking a dependable and energetic Part-Time Assistant Teacher to support our classrooms during the afternoon.

This is a great opportunity for a student or anyone looking for a consistent part-time weekday schedule. You'll provide classroom coverage and help our teaching teams create a positive end to the day for children and families.

Provide afternoon support across early childhood classrooms

Assist teachers with activities, transitions, and pick-up routines

Engage children through play, art, music, movement, and age-appropriate activities

Provide classroom and teacher break coverage as needed

Help maintain required classroom ratios

Support classroom cleanup and end-of-day routines

Provide attentive supervision and positive guidance

Follow applicable New York City childcare licensing requirements

High school diploma or GED required

Previous childcare or experience working with children preferred

Comfortable supporting different classrooms and age groups

Reliable and consistently available during afternoon hours

Positive, energetic, flexible, and team-oriented

Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements

Competitive pay of $18-$20 per hour
