• Integrate Islamic teachings, values, and ethics into various subjects while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Classroom Instruction and Management:
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and collaboration.
  • Implement effective classroom management techniques that encourage student participation, cooperation, and responsibility.
  • Use innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
  • Assess students’ academic progress, social development, and learning needs through various assessment tools and observations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with colleagues to address individual learning needs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and development.
• Professional Development and
  
  Collaboration:
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
  • Participate actively in faculty meetings, workshops, and school events.
• Community Engagement:
  • Foster strong partnerships with parents/guardians through effective communication and involvement in school activities.
  • Engage with the local community to promote the school’s values and initiatives through outreach programs or events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid Teaching certificate issued by the New York State Education Department is preferred
• The basics of Islamic knowledge that includes but not limited to: aqeedah, fiqh,
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
• Additional fluency in Arabic preferred
• Patient and empathetic
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Previous experience in teaching Islamic Studies and Quran recommended.
