Mount St. Marys University offers the Grow Your Own Teacher Candidate program in partnership with Frederick County Public Schools. Selected candidates will sustain their full-time support role while enrolled in an undergraduate teacher-preparation program.
Applicants must be currently employed as an instructional assistant or SEIA with FCPS, provide a principal endorsement, and commit to a three-year teaching obligation after graduation. The internship is full-time for a semester.
