- The Division of Administration & Economics houses the Fashion Studies, Program the B.S. in Enterprise Regulation:
Profit and Non-Profit, and the A.S. Program in Business Administration.- The Fashion Studies Program provides students with knowledge,skills, and experiences to succeed in the industry. The program provides a comprehensive, in-depth, and global approach to studyingthe business aspects of the fashion industry. The core curriculum consists of courses in various areas of fashion, business, ethics,and sustainability. Foundational knowledge and skills in fashionstudies are supported.
- The Enterprise Regulation:
The Profit and Non-Profit programfocus on the business industry's fundamental competencies, whichare vital for the field's future managers. The core curriculum inthe liberal arts will provide students with the broad knowledge andstrong communication skills that today's employers expect ofwell-educated professionals. Business Law knowledge will facilitate effective managers and facilitate effective managers while alsocultivating creativity, leadership skills and entrepreneurialabilities that are in wide demand in the business arena.
This program provides students with business law knowledge, skills, and experiences to succeed in the business industry. - Internships are an integral part of our programs. Internshipsmay be completed in New York and at one of the University's globalcampuses, locations in Rome, Paris, and Limerick, Ireland.
- The St. John's Community provides internship guidance,mentoring students and provides students with the tutelage tosucceed in their chosen career.
The adjunct will cover financial accounting concepts that form thebasis of external and internal reporting by business entities. Theywill explain how financial information is communicated to management, stockholders, creditors, and others interested in thestatus of the business enterprise. The adjunct will cover suchtopics as the basic accounting framework and concepts: reporting ofincome, financial position, and cash flows, the accounting process including accruals, and financial statement of elements.
EconomicsWe are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics adjunct toteach an introduction to the fundamentals of the economic system.
The "macro-economic" approach to employment, prices and economicstability in the context of globalization. The Economics adjunctshould be able to also cover the fundamental tools ofmicroeconomics (individual decision-making, markets). The goal isto provide students with a fundamental understanding of economicsthinking, enabling them to apply economic concepts to real-world scenarios.
The adjunct instructs students on business principles, marketingresearch, advertising and strategic management, preparing students for industry careers.
