Teacher; Infant​/Toddler

• Associate's degree (foreign equivalent or higher), credit equivalent (60 credits), or completion of an early childhood accredited course.
• In lieu of the educational requirements, two (2) years of full-time experience in the field of childcare will be considered.
• One (1) year of early childhood experience working with children 5 years and under.

• Associate's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Additional years of experience working with children 5 years and under.
• Experience in a full-day, early childhood/child care setting.

• Teaching: Provide daily care and education to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children aged 2 months to 3 years in accordance with Stony Brook Child Care Services, Inc. philosophy.
• Administration: Participate in administrative duties that involve scheduling, hiring, adapting curriculum, monitoring the condition of the facility, and availability of supplies.
• Student Intern Program: To include supervising and serving as a role model for undergraduate interns as well as participating in seminars and the grading process.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
