The Cultural Evolution Society is inviting applications for the position of Open-rank Curator and Professor in Americanist Archaeology at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. This tenure-track or tenured appointment seeks a well-qualified archaeologist with a strong research background in Indigenous societies of the Americas.
The successful candidate will oversee Museum collections, contribute to educational programs, and maintain a vibrant research agenda. An expected salary range of $125,000 – $200,000 is offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
