Stack testing firm located in Long Island NY, performs stationary source emission evaluations, air permit compliance for combustion sources. Utilizing USEPA reference test methods.

• Collect company van and sample kits each morning in the office.
• Travel to client sites to collect emission samples and work on smoke stacks.
• Conduct field tests and provide engineering team data.
• Assist in preparing reports for the engineering team.
• Work at heights on smoke stacks.
• Hoist up to 40 lbs.
• Operate company van (must have driver’s license and car).
• Work locally in and around the NYC metro area; occasional out‑of‑town travel (10–15%).

Experience: Entry Level

Salary: $25 - $28 per hour

• Mechanical technician professional experience OR Technical School education
• Strong hands‑on mechanical skills
• Basic mechanical and electrical systems experience
• Basic computer skills
• Valid Driver’s license (to drive company van)
• Comfortable with heights (to work on smoke stacks)
• Ability to lift 45 pounds
• Reliability
