Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Join our team in New York City as we create electrical designs for our diverse client portfolio. You will lead a team of electrical engineers through project management and design efforts, designing electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, and special systems for schools, universities, healthcare, and institutional clients in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.

• Design electrical systems, including lighting, power, and life safety, for existing facility renovations, new facilities, and facility modernization projects.
• Conduct load sizing and service requirements for electrification projects.
• Lead electrical projects and perform QA/QC of design work.
• Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines.

• Minimum of 5 years’ design experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• New York State Licensed Professional Engineer, preferred.
• Experience with K‑12, higher education, healthcare, and commercial markets in New York.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines, including proficiency with the National Electrical Code.
• Excellent work ethic, attitude, communication, time‑management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience providing technical mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.

The expected base salary range for this role is $110,000 – $170,000 USD per year, with additional performance‑based bonuses and a comprehensive U.S.‑based benefits package based on experience and qualifications.
