** Role description:
** Reporting to the Manager of Contract Administration with support to the Chief and Deputy Chief of Construction, the Business Analyst interacts with various Resident Engineer’s facility offices in NY and NJ and various Departments in the Agency to manage contractor payment applications and facilitate contract permitting during closeout for Stage IV construction contracts.
** Role accountabilities:
*** Reviewing and processing contractor payment applications and supporting documents associated; change orders, conversions, field items, desk audits etc.
* Communicate with various Engineering Divisions and Agency departments including Comptrollers, Procurement and Line facilities to execute payment processing.
* Coordinate and assist with processing of construction project closeout documents including but not limited to Completion of Work Memos, Certificates of Final Completion and Certificates of Total compensation.
** Qualifications &

Experience:

** Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in office engineering and/or administration work with principal experience in administration of construction contracts.
* Possess an Associate Degree in Business from an accredited college or university.
* Demonstrated experience with programs SAP/AVM.
* Demonstrated computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* The successful candidate must be able to pass a SWAC or TWIC high-level background check.

The salary range for this position is $90000 - $135000.

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
