Associate Equipment Operator

Constellation Energy is seeking an Associate Equipment Operator to support safe, reliable operation of utility and energy facilities. In this role, you will operate and monitor plant equipment, perform routine inspections, record operating data, and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions. You will assist with startups, shutdowns, and equipment isolation, working closely with senior operators and maintenance teams. The position involves following strict safety and environmental procedures, supporting troubleshooting activities, and participating in training to build technical skills and advance within the energy operations team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant and auxiliary equipment under supervision
• Perform routine field inspections and equipment readings
• Record operating data and report abnormal conditions
• Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, and lockout/tagout activities
• Respond to alarms and support basic troubleshooting
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures
• Support maintenance teams during outages and repairs
• Participate in training to develop technical and operational skills
• Communicate equipment status to control room and supervisors
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas in accordance with procedures
