Associate Equipment Operator

Constellation Energy seeks an Associate Equipment Operator to support safe, reliable operation of energy generation and distribution equipment. In this role, you will monitor, start, stop, and adjust plant systems, perform routine inspections, and log operating data to maintain optimal performance. You'll assist with basic troubleshooting, equipment lockout/tagout, and support maintenance activities. Working closely with senior operators and technicians, you'll follow strict safety and environmental procedures while learning advanced plant operations, contributing to efficient, sustainable energy delivery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant equipment and systems under supervision
• Perform routine rounds and inspections to identify abnormal conditions
• Record operating data, readings, and equipment status in logs and systems
• Assist with start-up, shutdown, and adjustment of equipment to meet load demands
• Support lockout/tagout and safety procedures during maintenance
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues
• Communicate equipment status to control room and maintenance teams
• Follow environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
• Support compliance with regulatory and company operating standards
• Participate in training to develop advanced equipment operation skills
