Associate Equipment Operator

Constellation Energy seeks an Associate Equipment Operator to support safe, reliable operation of power generation and utility systems. In this role, you'll monitor, operate, and perform basic maintenance on plant equipment, including pumps, valves, turbines, and electrical systems. You will follow operating procedures, perform routine inspections, and record operating data to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance. Working closely with senior operators, you'll assist in startups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting, while supporting environmental, safety, and sustainability goals in a dynamic, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant equipment to support safe, reliable energy production
• Perform routine field inspections and record operating data and readings
• Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, and system lineups
• Support basic preventive maintenance and report equipment issues
• Follow operating procedures, safety rules, and environmental regulations
• Communicate equipment status to control room and senior operators
• Respond to alarms and assist in troubleshooting operating problems
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with housekeeping standards
