A premier development, investment, and operating company focused on North American power generation, transmission, and energy infrastructure is hiring an Analyst/Associate for their Energy Marketing & Trading team.

Since inception, this company has developed or acquired 50,000+ MW of power generation, including utility-scale solar, wind, hydro, battery storage, and natural gas, and built 780+ miles of high-voltage transmission, with 375+ miles more in development. They've raised $89B+ in debt and equity capital to support North American infrastructure, and continue to scale into EV charging, demand response, microgrids, renewable fuels, and waste-to-energy platforms.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform market analysis on trading opportunities across power, FTRs, emissions, RECs, natural gas, oil, coal, and basis markets

  • Oversee third parties managing day-to-day commercial strategy for generating facilities (bidding, fuel procurement, outage coordination)

  • Apply fundamental and technical analysis to assess trade and hedge positions

  • Support structuring and negotiating trade documentation

  • Provide asset valuation support for acquisition and development activity

  • Assist in underwriting revenue streams for acquisition targets

  • Develop hedging strategies across market regions to maximize profitability and minimize margin volatility

  • Apply statistical and econometric analysis to power and gas datasets

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of trading, structuring, and/or analytical experience in the power industry

  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, including programming capability (reading, writing, editing code)

  • Familiarity with trade capture and programming systems

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently with strong follow-through
