SummaryElectrical Engineers and Electrical Designers are responsible for the design, coordination, documentation, and delivery of electrical building systems for our Venue Sector—including airports, convention centers, theatres, concert venues, recreation centers, gyms, collegiate and professional sports arenas, stadiums, and training facilities. Depending on experience level, duties range from engineering calculations to project leadership, mentoring, and business development support.

Independently performs intermediate electrical design tasks, prepares design documents, coordinates with internal and external partners, and may mentor less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform intermediate‑level calculations and design with minimal supervision.
- Prepare and modify plans, reports, and technical documents.
- Review shop drawings for compliance.
- Guide junior designers and provide technical support.
- Participate in business development and client coordination.
- Support limited project management and coordination tasks.
- Maintain current knowledge of codes, standards, and design tools.
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and design principles.
- MEP/Construction industry experience.
- FE and PE completion preferred.
- Ability to lead small tasks or portions of projects.
- Completion of FE exam, LEED and/or WELL accreditation.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of engineering design, A&E industry, codes, design guides, and standards.
- High technical aptitude: ability to learn and apply various systems and processes.
- Effective critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and engineering design software applicable to your discipline.
- Clear communication and willingness to ask questions.
