Join  +A Consulting Engineers as a Senior Electrical Engineer in our New York, NY office. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for high‑quality design, project management, and client relationship management.

$120,000 – $165,000 per year (based on experience and skills)

Founded in 1975,  +A Consulting Engineers provides integrated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering services across multiple U.S. locations and Toronto.

• Delivering high‑quality designs and deliverables on technically challenging projects
• Managing projects, writing proposals, and maintaining positive client relationships
• Providing engineering and design work and drafting of plans
• Implementing approved system concepts from schematic diagram to floor plans
• Sketching rough layouts for review with Project Engineer or Project Manager
• Reviewing product cut sheets and technical information
• Communicating with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems
• Meeting with vendors to determine spatial requirements for product application
• Attending meetings as required
• Submitting required documentation per project deadlines and milestones
• Attending in‑house coordination meetings when appropriate
• Developing a strategy to meet the project schedule
• Assisting in the development of engineering system concepts (M/E)
• Assisting the design team on major design issues
• Organizing technical correspondence, emails, and calculations
• Performing fieldwork and verification of existing conditions

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirements
• Professional conduct and presentation
• Positive attitude, result‑driven & team‑oriented
• Ability to think three‑dimensionally
• Capable of visiting job sites to perform fieldwork
• Detail‑oriented and deadline‑driven

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• PE License
• 10–15 years of related experience
