Senior Estimator - Heavy Civil Construction

Overview

A leading national heavy civil construction organization is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its team in New York
. This role supports large, complex infrastructure projects that have a lasting impact on communities across the U.S.

Reporting to senior leadership within the estimating function, you will play a key role in developing competitive, accurate estimates for major public works projects, including highways, bridges, tunnels, transit systems, and water/wastewater facilities.

• Develop detailed estimates for heavy civil infrastructure projects (bridges, highways, rail, airports, dams, tunnels, and transit)
• Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and technical specifications
• Perform and/or manage quantity take-offs for unit price and lump sum bids

• 10+ years of estimating and/or project management experience in heavy civil construction
• Minimum 5 years estimating large-scale heavy civil projects
• Prior experience estimating projects valued at $100M+
