• The Test Commissioning Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising commissioning and testing activities for electrical substations, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams during commissioning, providing technical guidance, and resolving on-site issues.
• Reviewing, validating, and documenting test procedures and results to ensure alignment with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, design engineers, operations teams, and clients to support successful project execution.
• Maintaining project timelines, budgets, and safety standards throughout all phases of testing and commissioning.

  The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely and working onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

• Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

• Proven experience in commissioning and testing of electrical substations, including supervision of construction, commissioning, and energization activities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, protection & control, and substation equipment.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in the field.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under project deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site across New York State.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
