We’re representing an elite AI startup operating at the bleeding edge of reinforcement learning, simulation environments, and AI agent development. This is a team of high-caliber engineers and researchers working on one of the most technically ambitious and economically impactful problems of our time — the kind of breakthrough that could unlock double-digit economic growth.

As a Member of Technical Staff, you’ll be a core contributor to the company’s AI product engineering, infrastructure, and research enablement. You will:

• Build and optimize RL environments, realistic simulated data, and representative tasks for AI training.

• Develop the underlying infrastructure to support large-scale AI research and experimentation.

• Delegate and orchestrate large workloads to fleets of AI coding agents.

• Collaborate directly with researchers to ensure the platform enables cutting-edge AI development.

• Rapidly prototype and ship technical solutions to unblock research progress.

• Operate with full ownership of projects from design to deployment, with a bias toward execution and iteration.

• 0+ years of experience owning AI product engineering — expertise in AI research, low-level infrastructure, or AI agent engineering.

• Track record of meaningful side projects, open-source contributions, published papers, or other tangible work in the AI space.

• Former founder or founding engineer at an early-stage AI startup preferred.

• CS degree or equivalent experience through AI-focused projects.

• High agency, bias for action, and willingness to take on difficult, unglamorous work.

• Passion for shaping the frontier of AI research and development.

• Proven ability to work quickly and independently on complex technical problems.

• Experience with AI simulation environments, reinforcement learning frameworks, and distributed computing.

• Rich commit histories, personal projects, or public technical writing.

• Prior experience at organizations like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Deep Mind.

• Salary: $120,000 – $240,000 base
