DESCRIPTION:

For one of our global clients, we are aggressively searching for a Sr. RF Design Engineer. This position can be based either at Rochester-NY or Lynchburg-VA facility.

POSITION:

This experienced Electrical Engineer with RF Design Expertise will join a cross-functional team responsible for designing and manufacturing communications products for public safety and government customers and will lead RF design of cutting edge products that incorporate a wide range of wireless communications technologies in small form factor, mission critical communications devices.

• Board Schematic Entry
• IDEAL CANDIDATE will have expertise in RF Design, in manufacturing of communication products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience OR
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• At least 7 years of experience with board schematic entry.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with product development and manufacturing introduction
• 5 plus years of experience with Land Mobile Radio, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and other communications technologies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with component vendors.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team.
• Ability to mentor and develop other engineers.
• Six Sigma training or strong working knowledge
