Job DescriptionResponsible for assisting the fuels program performing a variety of fuels/fire management tasks. The primary emphasis of this position is the administration, implementation and completion of prescribed burn and mechanical fuels treatments with standard fuels/fire management methods and techniques. Work involves activities related to data analysis and management, layout of treatment units, technical report writing, fuels treatment plan writing, prescribed fire plan writing, and working with other natural resources disciplines.
Will also support wild land fire suppression operations as qualified and requested.
Maintain Valid Oregon Drive/s License and be insurable is required. Must be able to pass medical exam and arduous pock test. Obtained High School Diploma or GED and pass a criminal background check with Federal, Tribal and State Law Enforcement.
